Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
A limited vinyl edition of this classic album with the original design and layout of the first pressing from 1992. All the details have been re-created including the lyric sheet, the blue box around the amplifier on the front, the label art, and even the Ajax and No.6 Records logos and addresses. The original didn't have a barcode, so we've created a spiffy new removeable OBI card for that featuring a photograph by Mike Galinsky of the band playing at New York's Spiral club in 1991.
On "Cherry Cream On" red inside clear color-in-color vinyl or "Imperial" black inside clear color-in-color. Photos here are only an approximation of what it will look like.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. of A. Pre-orders should ship by the release date: July 21, 2023.
Here we go...
Kicking, Kicking, Kicking, Kicking,
Loving me,
Kicking me, Kicking me, Kicking, Kicking,
i love you.
Can’t you see?
I want to be with your all time,
Suki.
I want to lay down in sunshine,
Keep repeating, Keep repeating,
I’ve known you for such a long time,
Suki,
I want to lay down in sunshine!
Unrest was a towering pillar of indie rock, from the tongue-in-cheek garage noise of their earliest efforts to the
shimmering, manic pop thrills of their later, most enduring work, the band was a paragon of DIY virtue, perfecting a genre-hopping eclecticism and knowing, ironic lyrical outlook that virtually defined the sound and feel of the 1990s. (photo by Erin Smith)....more
